Edwin Jackson carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the LEXINGTON LEGENDS
really laid it on the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 12 to 2.
 
Jackson(4-0) pitched well for LEXINGTON in their victory.  He was reached for
3 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.  The right-handed Jackson had his no-hit bid
broken up by Michael Saunders who homered with two outs in the 6th inning.
WISCONSIN was out-hit by LEXINGTON, 15 hits to 3.  
 
Sam Lecure earned his 3rd save.  Freddy Garcia(1-2) suffered the loss.  He
gave up 6 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.  For LEXINGTON the victory was a
welcome one, indeed.  They had been struggling in their last ten games with a
disappointing 2-8 record.  Still in a bad slump, with this loss, WISCONSIN is
1-9 lately and 10-34 on the year.
