At Minute Maid Park, the WISCONSIN fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Matt Moore(5-1) finally bested his WISCONSIN opposite, Armando
Galarraga(1-6), by the score of 2 to 1.
 
WISCONSIN never recovered after JACKSONVILLE took the lead in the 2nd inning
scoring a single run utilizing 2 base hits.  After two outs Russell Martin
doubled.  Jeff Francoeur followed next and he doubled.  Moore then drew a
walk.  Ruben Tejada was the next batter, but he struck out.  WISCONSIN was
retired without difficulty in the bottom of the 9th.  
 
Kenley Jansen preserved the game for Moore, recording his his 8th save.
Galarraga was the losing pitcher.  The JACKSONVILLE ballclub's record now
stands at a division leading 20-9.  WISCONSIN continued their losing ways and
their record is now 7-24.  They are 0-10 in their last ten games.
