Left fielder Juan Rivera blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI at Minute Maid Park
where the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS beat the RICHMOND FLYING SQUIRREL 6 to
4.
 
In the bottom of the 6th inning WISCONSIN scored 4 runs when they had 4 base
hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Rivera who excited the crowd when
he launched a three-run homer.  RICHMOND tried unsuccessfully to come back in
the 9th.  
 
Francisco Liriano(1-0) allowed 2 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Luke Gregerson was credited with his 1st save.  Edinson Volquez(0-1)
absorbed the loss.  He surrendered 5 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings.
