The RICHMOND FLYING SQUIRREL tallied 4 runs in the 4th inning and nipped the
WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 4 to 3 at Minute Maid Park in a hard fought
contest.
 
RICHMOND did all the necessary damage in the 4th inning when they tallied 4
runs on 4 hits.  The highlight belonged to Logan Morrison who deflated the
mood of the partisan fans when he clubbed a three-run home run.  WISCONSIN
had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
C.J. Wilson(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 3 runs. Brian Wilson earned the save, his 1st.  Felix Hernandez(0-1)
absorbed the loss.  
 
Despite losing MIKE SWANSON was optimistic after the game.  'We'll get over
this one.  Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't.  Any one
of a dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
