Jed Lowrie slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at Minute Maid Park where the
WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS beat the BROOKLYN DODGERS by the score of 8 to

WISCONSIN tallied 4 runs in the 5th inning when they had 3 base hits. The
crucial at-bat was provided by Ryan Howard who thrilled the crowd when he
launched a three-run homer.  WISCONSIN ended up with 9 hits for the game
while BROOKLYN had 5.  
 
The victory went to Francisco Liriano(3-0) who went 6 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 4 runs. Liriano got relief help from Chris Jakubauskas who gained
credit for his 1st save.  The loss was charged to Zach Britton(0-1).  He was
knocked around pretty good, giving up 8 runs in 7 innings.
