Alfonso Soriano cracked a homer and had 2 RBI as the SPOKANE INDIANS ballclub
embarrassed the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS by the count of 13 to 3.
 
Soriano provided much of the offense.  He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled
resulting in a run in the 3rd inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park
in the 6th inning.  SPOKANE out-hit WISCONSIN for the game, 17 hits to 12.
 
Nick Blackburn(4-7) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Andy
Sonnanstine preserved the game for Blackburn, recording his his 3rd.  Greg
Smith(0-1) took the loss.  He allowed SPOKANE 5 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings of
work.
