In a thriling finish the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS pulled off the win over the
BRISBANE BANDITS by a score of 4 to 3 at Minute Maid Park.
The deciding run was scored by WISCONSIN in the bottom of the 9th. After two
outs Rob Johnson tripled. Matt Palmer then uncorked a pitch that was ruled a
passed ball giving WISCONSIN the win much to the delight of the home town
crowd. For the game WISCONSIN out-hit BRISBANE 8 to 5.
The victory was credited to Kevin Jepsen(2-1) who went 1/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Palmer(1-3) in relief.
