In a dramatic ending at Minute Maid Park the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS won in
their last at-bat beating the awful BRISBANE BANDITS by the count of 3 to
2.
 
The deciding run was scored by WISCONSIN in the 9th.  Willie Bloomquist
stroked a base-hit.  After an out was recorded, Juan Rivera stepped in and he
drew a walk.  After another out, Pedro Feliz came up and he doubled making
WISCONSIN the victors to the delight of the home town faithful.  BRISBANE had
9 hits in the game while WISCONSIN had 5, but WISCONSIN had the more timely
hits.  
 
The victory went to Andrew Bailey(4-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
Lance Cormier(1-3) ended up with the loss in relief.  He allowed 2 hits and 1
walk in 2/3 of an inning.  
 
The WISCONSIN ballclub's record now stands at 56-67.  Not able to get much
going in recent weeks, BRISBANE is 1-9 of late and now has an overall record
of 35-79, worst in the division.
