In a dramatic ending at Minute Maid Park the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS won in
their last at-bat beating the awful BRISBANE BANDITS by the count of 3 to
2.
The deciding run was scored by WISCONSIN in the 9th. Willie Bloomquist
stroked a base-hit. After an out was recorded, Juan Rivera stepped in and he
drew a walk. After another out, Pedro Feliz came up and he doubled making
WISCONSIN the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. BRISBANE had
9 hits in the game while WISCONSIN had 5, but WISCONSIN had the more timely
hits.
The victory went to Andrew Bailey(4-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
Lance Cormier(1-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 hits and 1
walk in 2/3 of an inning.
The WISCONSIN ballclub's record now stands at 56-67. Not able to get much
going in recent weeks, BRISBANE is 1-9 of late and now has an overall record
of 35-79, worst in the division.

defeating the BRISBANE BANDITS by a score of 8 to 1.
The WISCONSIN fans enjoyed the offense provided by Juan Rivera. He ripped a
base-knock in the 2nd inning and electrified the crowd with a Grand Slam home
run in the 6th inning. The game was a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.
The win was credited to Jason Vargas(9-6) who went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing
1 run. Bud Norris(4-14) was charged with the loss. He pitched 5 and 1/3
innings and surrendered 4 hits and 3 walks.

In a thriling finish the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS pulled off the win over the
BRISBANE BANDITS by a score of 4 to 3 at Minute Maid Park.
The deciding run was scored by WISCONSIN in the bottom of the 9th. After two
outs Rob Johnson tripled. Matt Palmer then uncorked a pitch that was ruled a
passed ball giving WISCONSIN the win much to the delight of the home town
crowd. For the game WISCONSIN out-hit BRISBANE 8 to 5.
The victory was credited to Kevin Jepsen(2-1) who went 1/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Palmer(1-3) in relief.

using 3 hits. Hunter Pence led off and started the rally when he lined a
base-hit. Trevor Crowe followed and he laced a base-knock. Crowe took

next and he clubbed a two-run home run. Colby Rasmus was a strikeout victim,
unable to help out. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town
fans, as the lead kept changing - 6 times in all.

separated the combatants at game's end. The potent AUBURN DOUBLEDAYS won by
the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
In the 2nd inning AUBURN scored 4 runs with the help of 4 hits. The key
offensive moment was provided by Justin Morneau who deflated the mood of the
partisan fans when he slapped a one-base hit scoring two baserunners.
WISCONSIN threatened in the 9th but AUBURN was able to put down the rally.
The victory was credited to Ian Kennedy(10-4) who went 5 innings, allowing 2
runs. Octavio Dotel got the save, his 19th. Doug Fister(3-13) suffered the
loss.

Wth the win WISCONSIN now has a record of 52-65. TIM COMPANIK was unhappy
with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said.

Doug Fister went 10 solid innings as the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS defeated
the league door-mat SPOKANE INDIANS in 11 innings 2 to 1 at Minute Maid
Park.
The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings. WISCONSIN won it in the 11th
inning. Juan Rivera doubled. After an out was recorded, Rusty Ryal came to
bat and ripped a one-base hit making WISCONSIN the winners and sending the
26,667 fans home happy. SPOKANE was out-hit by WISCONSIN, 9 hits to 4.
Kevin Jepsen(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. Trevor
Hoffman(2-9) was tagged with the loss in relief. He allowed 1 run and 2 hits

Jason Vargas went 8 solid innings and left fielder Rusty Ryal had 3 base hits

WISCONSIN took the lead for good in the bottom of the 4th inning scoring one
runner utilizing 3 base hits. Andrew Bailey was great in relief and recorded
his 21st save.
Vargas(7-6) allowed 2 runs in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. Matt
Garza(3-14) was the loser. With this win, WISCONSIN has a 49-63 record.
They have been 5-5 lately. Not able to get much going in recent weeks,
SPOKANE is 1-9 of late and now has an overall record of 32-77, worst in the
division.

Park.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, Corey
Patterson lined a one-base hit. Patterson then stole second base. One out
later, Ian Kinsler came to bat and reached on an error giving WISCONSIN the
win as 31,109 happy fans joyfully celebrated. WISCONSIN banged out 10 hits
on the night.
Hernandez(9-10) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. Matt Palmer(1-2)
was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed 1 hit and no walks in 2/3 of
an inning.

Ian Desmond hit 2 doubles at Minute Maid Park as the BRISBANE BANDITS beat the
WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS by the count of 5 to 4.
BRISBANE came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 8th inning
with 3 runs on 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Andres Blanco began
the rally when he drew a walk. Desmond stepped into the batter's box and he
doubled. Jorge Cantu then doubled. One out later, Billy Butler stepped up
to the plate and he delivered a one-base hit. WISCONSIN threatened in the
9th but their rally came up short.
Tyson Ross(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing no
runs. Chad Qualls was credited with his 4th save. Francisco Liriano(6-12)
took the loss. He was stingy with the baserunners, allowing just 4 hits and
1 walk in 7 and 1/3 innings.
The win by BRISBANE was very good news as they had been 1-9 of late. Now
their seasonal record improves to 35-75. With the loss, WISCONSIN has a
record of 3-7 lately, 47-63 overall.
