Kubel led the offense for NEW YORK.  He rifled a three-run blast in the 7th
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 9th inning.  Neither team
was able to score until the 7th inning.  
 
Kevin Correia(2-5) allowed 1 run in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Correia was helped out by David Robertson who recorded his 4th save.
Armando Galarraga(2-8) was tagged with the loss.
