Doug Fister had a strong outing as the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS bested the
BOSTON-NL RED SOX 3 to 0 at Minute Maid Park.
 
BOSTON-NL surrendered all of the runs WISCONSIN needed in the 6th inning
plating 3 runs using 3 hits.  After an out was recorded, Scott Podsednik
initiated the scoring spurt when he delivered a base-hit.  Podsednik swiped
second base.  WISCONSIN continued their aggressive style with another stolen
base.  Ian Kinsler came up and he smacked a single.  Ryan Howard came to the
plate and clubbed a two-run home run.  WISCONSIN managed only 6 hits on the
afternoon.  
 
Fister(4-15) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Andrew
Bailey got the save, his 25th.  Kyle Davies(6-15) took the loss.  He gave up
3 runs and 6 hits in 5 and 1/3 innings.
