7,825 fans watched an exciting game at Minute Maid Park.  The LEXINGTON
LEGENDS scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning and topped the WISCONSIN TIMBER
RATTLERS by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
 
WISCONSIN lost it in the 2nd inning when LEXINGTON did all their damage as
they scored 6 runs on 4 base hits.  That early scoring held up.  Jon Rauch,
after tossing a perfect ninth, was credited with his 7th save.  
 
Edwin Jackson(11-11) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory.
Jason Vargas(9-8) was the losing pitcher.  He surrendered 10 hits and 4 walks
in 9 innings.
