At Minute Maid Park, the WISCONSIN faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel.  Jeff Karstens(3-0) finally bested his WISCONSIN counterpart,
Mike Pelfrey(2-2), by the score of 3 to 0.
 
NEW YORK went ahead for good in the 4th inning plating one baserunner on 2
base hits.  WISCONSIN was out-hit by NEW YORK, 9 hits to 6.  
 
Greg Holland preserved the game for Karstens, recording his his 1st.  Pelfrey
was charged with the loss.  He pitched 7 and 1/3 innings and surrendered 8
hits and 1 walk.
