pitching at Minute Maid Park. The final score was a lop-sided 14 to 2.
Ted Lilly(3-1) pitched okay, well enough for the win. He went 6 innings
surrendering 8 hits and no walks. INDIANAPOLIS simply wore out the WISCONSIN
pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.
Lilly got help from Dan Wheeler who was credited with his 1st save. Mike
Pelfrey(2-3) was the loser. He was knocked around, surrendering 8 runs in 6
and 2/3 innings.
INDIANAPOLIS now has a record of 21-12. With the loss, the WISCONSIN

INDIANAPOLIS scored 3 runs in the decisive top of the 7th inning when they
came up with 3 base hits. Aramis Ramirez kicked off the action when he
cracked a solo homerun. Prince Fielder stepped up next and he hit a
bases-empty home run. After an out was recorded, Jose Constanza came to the
plate and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. INDIANAPOLIS out-hit WISCONSIN for
the game, 17 hits to 8.
Antonio Bastardo(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings.

Jason Vargas completed the game without help from the bullpen as the WISCONSIN
TIMBER RATTLERS defeated the INDIANAPOLIS CLOWNS by a score of 3 to 2 at
Minute Maid Park.
In the 4th inning WISCONSIN went on top for good scoring a single run on 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Corey Patterson doubled. One out later,
Doug Fister came up and he fired a sharp breaking ball that appeared to
cross-up the catcher. In any event, it got by him and was ruled a passed
ball. Chone Figgins then laced a base-hit. Vargas was next to the plate,
but was promptly struck out. Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 4th
inning with no runs scored after that point.
Vargas(2-4), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Fister(3-3)
was the loser. He allowed 3 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.

Maid Park.
The score was knotted at 7 after nine innings. WISCONSIN came out on top in
the 11th inning. Brian Schneider drew a walk. Ian Kinsler was next and he
drew a walk. Jed Lowrie then drew a walk to load the bases. Chase D'Arnaud
followed and he was hit by a pitch resulting in an exciting win for WISCONSIN
and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. WISCONSIN
finished with 12 hits in the victory.
Craig Breslow(1-1) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the victory. The loss

First baseman Ryan Howard launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the WISCONSIN
TIMBER RATTLERS defeated the NEW YORK YANKEES by the score of 8 to 6 at
Minute Maid Park.
Howard helped send the fans home happy. He lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 1st inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 8th inning. WISCONSIN had 11 hits for the night.
The win went to Chris Jakubauskas(2-2) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Jakubauskas got help from Francisco Cordero who was credited with

Felix Hernandez had a strong outing as the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS beat the
JACKSONVILLE SUNS by a score of 3 to 1.
WISCONSIN did all of it's offensive work in the 3rd inning when they scored 3
runs on 4 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Hernandez(3-4)
and WISCONSIN. That was all the run support Hernandez required. WISCONSIN
had only 4 hits for the game.
The losing pitcher was Madison Bumgarner(4-3). Wth the win WISCONSIN now has
a record of 15-13. Mike Horvath was unhappy with his club's recent
performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be
embarrassing after a while.'

Jose Molina went yard and had 2 RBI and Homer Bailey pitched a complete game
as the NEWARK EAGLES defeated the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 9 to 2 at Minute
Maid Park.
NEWARK promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring 2 runs using
2 hits. Maicer Izturis led off and started the rally when he doubled.
Desmond Jennings stepped up to the plate and he tripled. Justin Upton then
was hit by a pitch. Dan Uggla was a strikeout victim, unable to help out.
Adam Jones came to the plate and hit a deep fly. NEWARK had 13 hits for the
afternoon.
Bailey(1-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Jason
Vargas(1-1) was hit with the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered 9
hits and 1 walk.

the NEWARK EAGLES topped the WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS by a score of 6 to 1
at Minute Maid Park.
In the 5th inning NEWARK scored 3 runs with the help of 5 hits. Shelley
Duncan opened up the inning nicely when he ripped a base-hit. Carlos Ruiz
stepped up to the plate and he lined a single. Jonathan Herrera then stroked
a single to load the bases. After an out was recorded, Desmond Jennings came
to bat and ripped a single. Upton came up to bat and ripped a base-knock.
Dan Uggla dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. Adam Jones next
to the plate and he drew a walk to load the bases. NEWARK had a total of 9
hits for the game.
Lee(1-0) allowed 1 run on the game. Felix Hernandez(1-3) was the loser. He
struck out 12 batters in 9 innings despite losing the game.
'He had his 'A' game today,' HOWARD BROVER said of Lee. 'Very impressive
performance.'
